What does the security light in my 2004 monte carlo mean?
My husband and I got a 2004 monte carlo back in January. The car came with no owners manual so now that the security light comes on every now and again, I have no idea what it indicates. I have tried looking on here to find the manual but have been very unsuccessful and not even sure of where to buy one at. So any information anyone can give me would be a big help. Thank you in advance!

Its a scare tactic, but actually is wired into the radio to protect it from theft.
it means the system has a “VATS” system installed
vehicle anti theft system
