security light and check engine light on car wont start?
went to start car and both lights in check engine light on and security light blinking car stuck in park
the car is a 92 buick lesabre very low miles, new alternator, battery fine . has been running great. seems like car thinks I am trying to steal it.

Its the security system on your car that will not let you start the car. Its most likely a short in the wiring. I had the same problem with my car. Good luck
It is your car securities system, it thinks you are trying to ‘steal’ the car could be many different things, such as a bad key or if you had a key replaced the keys have a sensor in them.
Let me guess what you drive seeing where you didn’t tell us anything about what you drive, a Chevy Malibu? if so it is your passlock system or your key it self, is it a copy key? Get it checked at your dealer, Best advice i can give you without knowing what the year make and model of your car is.
your security system is locking you out of your car. check your key. make sure it is not worn. are your seat belts on? press the brake when trying to start it. if hat doesnt work, try to disable the system. pull the fuse (remember it may be in the underhood fuse panel). or disconnect the wire. if you get it started, take it to a shop to have it checked it out. check all your grounds too
