Should I get the electrician to install them on a switch that I can turn on and off? Is there any reason I wouldn’t put them on a switch, (it does cost more to wire that way). I just don’t want to have to get it done later if it is best for them to be on a switch.

After about two days my car wouldn’t start. I changed the battery and put on a new one. The car still don’t start at all. No engine sound either. (2003 Oldsmobile Alero) I think it is the starter.
It didn’t make a sound. It didn’t even click. The lights came on the dash. No engine sound at all.
